The valley Numedal is mostly known for the stave churches

really beautiful rose painting from that area.
The authors are Nils Ellingsgard , who not only is
a superb rose painter himself but also has written several books about the subject, and Gry Charlotte Ljøterud Andersen who
has good knowledge about art history and folk art.
