Wonderful Setesdals Sweater

This lovely sweater is made in the traditional setesdals design with pewter claps and trims sewn
on around the neck. It is machine knit and made by J&E Sportswear.
It is made of 100% woolen yarn and can be washed carefully
Condition: excellent condition
Measures 26 inches from shoulders and down. 22 inches from armpit to armpit and the
arms are 19 inches.It is a womans size 38/40 which is a size M. Do check the measures to make sure it fits though.
Weight: 525 gr grams. ( I can include items up to a total packed weight of 1000 gr for the
same shipping costs)

This sweater was originally made for the Skiing World Championship in Val di Fiemme in 1991. Norwegian competitors
had great success in this championship and took five gold medals, three silver medals and two bronze medals.
The valley Val di Fiemme is located in Northern Italy and consists
of a lot of small villages. The area is the highest profiled winter sport resort in Italy, and the valley continues to stretch
North with several good resorts. The bottom of the sweater is inspired by the mountaintops Dolomites located North of the
valley Val di Fiemme. The houses on the top of the chest are a symbol for the locale traditional building techniques.The eight-leaf
rose on the chest is inspired by classic winter scenery, with snow-covered mountaintops, hills and valleys. A particular feature
of the landscape around Val di Fiemme is all the intervening valleys in and around the main valley. These are symbolized in
the snow beneath the four stripes on the chest. Local art and craftsmanship have also been important inspiration for the Fiemme
design.

Beautiful Setesdal sweater sz M 152

Beautiful light weight sweater with Setesdal design.
It is made in black and cream white, and has sewed trim around the neck and down front. It has two
pairs of pewter clasps to hold it together. It also has an extra pair of pewter claps. It is a perfect sweater
for chilly autumn days. it is light weight and not too thick. The tag says BLENDED WOOL, wool/ acrylic.
Size : M
Condition: NEW with tag.

Wonderful sweater with pewter clasps
This is a beautiful Norwegian wool sweater made by the well known Nordstrikk in Norway. If you are
interested I can show you more detailed photos of it. I do not know if it ever has been used, it looks brand new. It has 2
pairs of beautiful pewter clasps, and woolen trims around the neck and part down the front. One one sleeve is has a patch
that says Nordstrikk -made in Norway, along with the Norwegian flag.
It is size M , but please check the measures. It is 22 inches from armpit to armpit, and 26 inches from
shoulders and down. The arms are barely 19 inches. It is knit in white and 3 lovely shades of blue in 100 % woolen yarn. A
really wonderful sweater, one of the nicest I have had for sale.
Condition: used but in excellent condition
For combined shipping purposes this sweater weighs about 790 gr

This lovely sweater has a tag that says HAANDSTRIKK ( = hand knit) AALESUND - ALL WOOL. Made in Norway.
The handcraft is excellent. It is made in off white and charcoal grey. It is a fairly heavy sweater, and
will be great as a ski sweater or to keep you warm on cold winter days.
Measures : It is 20 inches from armpit to armpit, the arms are 23 inches, and the lenght is about 26 inches.
Condition: used but in excellent condition, as new.
